"...die schönsten Melodien aus dem 'Messiah' und anderen Bibeltext-Vokalwerken von Georg Friedrich Händel zu einer Wohlklang-CD kompilieren - darf man das? - Ja! Denn diese CD schenkt doppelte Freude. Erstens eignet sie sich ideal für das Antesten und Warmspielen der neuen Hifi-Anlage, weil das Produzenten-Duo Josef-Stefan Kindler und Andreas Otto Grimminger bei diesen Aufnahmen aus dem Kloster Maulbronn bewusst auf klangliche Schönfärberei verzichtet und den Dynamik-Spielraum voll ausschöpft. Zweitens sind diese Highlights aus acht Händel-Oratorien ein Ohrenschmaus für jene CD-Genießer, die sich zwischen den Jahren zwar kein Zweistunden-Oratorium anhören mögen – aber gerne mal wieder eine Mußestunde mit einer ebenso aufregend wie einschmeichelnd klingenden CD verbringen möchten."
